Getting started
What do I need?
An iPhone with iOS 18 or later, or an Android phone. Scoring on the wrist, heart rate and hit counting need an Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or later, or a watch with Wear OS 3 or later. Without a watch you can still log matches and see your stats on your phone.
How do I score a match?
Open Padelino on your Apple Watch or Android-compatible smartwatch, choose the rules (1 or 3 sets, golden point, super tiebreak) and tap Start Match. After each point, tap the team that won it. Padelino counts games, sets and tiebreaks. Tapped the wrong team? Use the undo button. Turn the Digital Crown or swipe up to see heart rate, calories and hits.
What is Just Track?
Just Track records time, heart rate, calories and hits without scoring each point. When you end it, enter the games for each set on the Watch, or save without a score and add it later on your phone from the match.
How do I add players to a match from the Watch?
The Watch doesn't ask for names. Open the match on your phone and fill in the players and team names there. Set yourself as the default player in My Profile › Manage Players so your results and stats are shown from your side.
Common questions
The score doesn't show on my phone
Make sure the Padelino Watch app is installed (in the Watch app on your phone) and that your Watch is connected to your phone. The live score updates when both are in range. The final result is always delivered, even if your phone was away during the match; it arrives when the devices reconnect.
Why are my matches saved as Pickleball in Apple Health?
Apple Health has no padel workout type yet, so Padelino uses the closest one. You can stop saving workouts in Settings › Save Matches as Workouts; heart rate and calories still show in the app.
Where do my matches go as workouts on Android?
On Android, Padelino saves matches as workouts in Health Connect, so they also show up in Samsung Health, Google Fit and other apps.
How are hits counted?
Your Watch's motion sensors detect each swing. If the count seems too high or too low, change Settings › Sensitivity (Low, Medium or High), or turn Hit Tracking off.
How are heart rate zones worked out?
Zones are based on your maximum heart rate: 220 minus your age from Apple Health, or 190 if Health doesn't know your age. If you know your real maximum, set it in Settings › Custom Max Heart Rate.
Can I move my matches to a new phone?
Yes, through your normal phone backup: restoring an iCloud or computer backup brings your matches with it. You can also keep a copy with Settings › Export as CSV or Export as JSON.
How do I delete my data?
Settings › Delete All Data removes every match and player. Workouts saved to Apple Health are managed in the Health app. See the Privacy Policy for everything Padelino stores.
Which languages are available?
English and Bosnian. Change it in Settings › Language.
